Noah Syndergaard Supports Trump at White House Event

Noah Syndergaard, a former Major League Baseball pitcher known for his time with the New York Mets, showed his support for President Donald Trump during an event at the White House on Tuesday. This occasion celebrated the Presidential Fitness Test.

Syndergaard, who has been a fan of Trump for a while, described meeting him as a “dream come true.” In an interview on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” he expressed his joy, saying, “I feel blissful in this moment.”

He expressed confusion over the negative media portrayal that Trump often receives, stating, “I just don’t understand the negativity and pessimism that he gets from the media and from some people in this country.” Syndergaard highlighted Trump’s patriotism and his commitment to the well-being of the nation and the world.

Interestingly, he even mentioned feeling “envious” of Trump’s lively mental energy and sharpness. “I envy this man’s mental energy, sharpness, and comedy in everything he says,” he noted. It seems there’s a bit of admiration there.

During the event, Trump referred to Syndergaard, jokingly saying, “Professional baseball pitcher Noah Syndergaard is sometimes called Thor, but to me he looks like Thor. That’s a guy you don’t want to fight with.”

Syndergaard also voiced his support for reinstating physical fitness testing in schools, reminiscing about his own experiences with such tests as a child. “When I was a kid, when I was 10 years old, if you had told me… I would have called you crazy,” he reflected, adding that he saw the importance of being active and engaged in various sports.

He described the experience of interacting with kids at the event, saying it was fulfilling to get outside, throw some ground balls, do pull-ups, and enjoy the sunshine.
