Bakhtiari Appears to Take Jab at Rodgers During Love’s Wedding
Former Green Bay Packers offensive lineman David Bakhtiari seemed to throw shade at his ex-teammate Aaron Rodgers on Monday while celebrating Jordan Love’s wedding.
Jordan Love, who is the current quarterback for the Packers, tied the knot with Ronica Stone over the weekend, and Bakhtiari was among the guests from the Green Bay Brotherhood. It looked like Bakhtiari’s comments were aimed at Rodgers, who reportedly had a secret marriage.
“Love is love. Congratulations to love,” Bakhtiari posted on X.
Speculations about Rodgers’ relationship have circulated since he was spotted wearing a wedding ring at the Kentucky Derby. He was later seen again with the ring when the Pittsburgh Steelers shared a photo of him signing a one-year contract. Yet, the identity of Rodgers’ wife remains elusive.
Rodgers himself has stated that she is just someone special to him.
During a recent appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” the four-time NFL MVP expressed frustration over media speculation surrounding his marital status.
“It’s a sick society, right? I’ve been in the public eye for 20 years. How did it go? I leaked information and created a narrative. I want my life private,” Rodgers asserted. He noted that there should be more respect for personal boundaries and observed, “What happened to general conscience about security and our lives?”
He further commented on the media’s persistent focus on his personal life, emphasizing that his partner doesn’t want to be involved in the public spotlight.
Rodgers concluded with a resolve that when his time in the spotlight is over, he plans to step back and live away from prying eyes. “I know I’ve chosen this life for another season, but my personal life will remain my own,” he insisted.
