Former ‘Real Housewives’ star Lauri Peterson’s son Josh Waring dead at 35

Former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Lori Peterson’s son Josh Wareing has died. He was 35 years old.

On Saturday, the 63-year-old reality TV personality announced her son’s death in an emotional post she shared to Instagram.

“It is with a broken heart that I write this post to let you know that my beloved Josh passed away on Easter Sunday,” Peterson wrote in a photo capturing moments from Waring’s life. I wrote this along with a slideshow.

Peterson reflected on the special relationship between Ms. Waring and her daughter, Kennady, writing that she had “received her greatest joy, pride and purpose” through her child and watched her “grow and flourish over the years.”

She also expressed gratitude to those who provided help and support to Waring as he struggled with substance abuse.

“Thank you to everyone who tried to help Josh along the way,” Peterson wrote. “I am a witness to many angels on earth. Not everyone understands people who suffer from substance abuse disorders, but I am eternally grateful for your understanding and the impact you have had on his life.” Thank you very much.”

“I would also like to thank all those who have supported me throughout this journey, who have shared their stories of living with substance abuse disorders, who have offered kind words of encouragement, and who have spoken to me over the years about children who have sadly been bereaved. I also want to thank the many parents who have listened to me because of this disease,” she continued.

“Josh, I love you so much and will miss you so much! I will forever be your ‘Mama Bear and Mama Dukes’ and every time the clock strikes 11:11 , waiting for your call to make a wish for me! What do I wish for from now on? ”

“My heart is with you and I hope you find the peace you deserve. Heaven has got the coolest angel and you are finally free, sweetie. Forever and ever. Love, Mom,” Peterson wrote at the end of the show. her post.

Ms Peterson shares Ms Waring with her ex-husband, Philip Waring, and the pair are also parents to daughter Sophia. The former model also has a daughter, Ashley, with her ex-husband Howard Zarin.

During the third season finale of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” the former reality star married George Peterson. Peterson was a member of the show’s original cast, co-starring Kimberly Bryant, Joe Delarosa, Vicki Gunvalson, and Gina Keough.

Peterson was a regular cast member for the first four seasons of the series from 2006 to 2008. She returned in later seasons as a guest star.

After Peterson announced her son’s death on Instagram, her post was flooded with supportive comments from former co-stars and friends.

“Oh Rory, my heart is so broken. I know how much you fought for him and always wanted nothing but the best for him,” she wrote with a red heart emoji. Ta.

Rossi continued, “May the Lord surround you with His angels and give you strength to overcome this incredibly painful loss. I love you my friend.”

Keogh, a former castmate of Peterson’s, wrote: “My heart breaks for you. I know how hard you tried to be his advocate. A big hug and a big hug at this sad time. I will be praying for the family.”

“Lori, I’m so sorry. This is heartbreaking. You tried so hard to save him, and by sharing Josh’s story you are helping others struggling with addiction. “It will educate people around the world about the tragedy of this disease,” wrote Andy Cohen, executive producer of “Real Housewives.”

In 2008, Peterson told the Orange County Register that he decided to leave the show to focus on his family while Waring battled addiction and legal issues. Peterson and George adopted Wearing’s daughter Kennadi in 2015, the former reality star previously told Bravo’s “The Daily Dish.”

Waring served four years in prison for attempted murder after his 2016 arrest before taking a plea deal in 2020.

by Los Angeles TimesWaring was arrested in June 2016 on suspicion of fatally shooting a man in Costa Mesa, California, and then engaging in a car chase with authorities. He initially pleaded not guilty.

In 2022, Waring pleaded guilty to drug charges and was sentenced to two years in prison, according to the LA Times. Waring was found to be in possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine, the paper said.
