Kimi Hans and Jackson Powers-Johnson Tie the Knot
Former UCLA tennis player Kimi Hans and Raiders guard Jackson Powers-Johnson have officially exchanged vows.
Their wedding celebration took place in Kauai, Hawaii. It kicked off with a Wimbledon-themed welcome party that gathered guests from the island. The ceremony itself was held at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, a luxurious resort situated on Kauai’s north shore.
The bride showcased multiple wedding outfits throughout the ceremony and reception.
Hans and Powers-Johnson started an official Instagram account in July 2024, with the engagement following shortly after. The proposal happened during the Raiders’ bye week in the 2024 NFL season.
Hans, aged 23, graduated from UCLA last May, marking the end of his time as a Bruin. He shared a touching message on Instagram reflecting on his four years at UCLA.
In his post, he expressed gratitude for the experiences, stating, “Four years filled with wins, losses, laughs, and tears. I can’t fully articulate how thankful I am for my time at UCLA. Having those four letters tattooed on my chest is one of the greatest honors in my life.” He went on to thank his coaches and teammates, saying, “You’re my sisters for life. Win or lose, I appreciate the memories and support.”
He added, “I’m sad to leave, but I’m looking forward to the next chapter. Once a Bruin, always a Bruin.”
Powers-Johnson, also 23 and a former player from Oregon State, is currently in his third NFL season. Last year, he received a 63.8 overall grade from Pro Football Focus, ranking him 37th among 81 eligible guards.
Despite missing significant time due to injuries since being drafted by the Raiders in 2024, Powers-Johnson had a healthy season and aims to maintain his starting position in 2026.
