Fort Liberty issued the statement after receiving backlash online after it was revealed that pro-life protests had been labeled a terrorist movement as part of a briefing for soldiers.

Note that they are labeling them as a terrorist organization, not an extremist organization (which is still insane),” @samosaur wrote.

“After conducting a command investigation, it was determined that the slides posted on social media were not reviewed by the appropriate approval agencies and do not reflect the views of XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Liberty, the U.S. Army or the Department of Defense,” the Fort Liberty Garrison Public Affairs Office said in a statement to Blaze Media.
“The slides were created by local garrison personnel to train Soldiers manning access control points at Fort Liberty. These slides will no longer be used and all future training products will be reviewed to ensure they are in line with current Department of Defense counterterrorism guidelines,” the statement added.
“In a presentation that was deeply offensive to pro-life Americans across the country, Fort Liberty promoted outright lies about National Right to Life as a demonstration of lazy scholarship,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. Said In response to the slide, they said, “Throughout our 50-plus year history, the National Right to Life Union has always, consistently and unequivocally condemned violence against anyone.”
“One might wonder how a license plate designed to raise funds for a pregnancy support center could be interpreted as a symbol of terrorism,” Tobias continued.
