Foul play suspected in disappearance of two women last seen in Oklahoma: officials

Authorities now suspect foul play in the disappearances of Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelly, two Kansas women who disappeared over the weekend while traveling to pick up their children, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI). He says there is sufficient evidence.

“Based on information obtained from the victim’s vehicle, our investigators believe there is evidence of foul play,” OSBI said in a statement. “We are still searching for the victim and at this time… No arrests have been made.”

Butler is 5 feet 4 inches tall with red hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeve shirt and denim shorts, according to the alert.

Kelly has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and tan or beige shoes.

According to the McCook Gazette, Kelly is also the wife of Heath Kelly, the current pastor of Hugoton First Church of Christ, who will be the new pastor of Willow Church of Christ in Indianola, Nebraska.
