Fox News Channel hosts and anchors are expected to wear camouflage through Veterans Day on Nov. 11 as part of a campaign focused on veteran homelessness.
Fox Corporation is partnering with U.S.VETS for the sixth year of “Make Camo Your Cause,” an effort to raise awareness and funds for programs supporting veterans. The campaign highlights a troubling reality: some people who served in the military end up without stable housing.
Fox is the campaign’s founding media sponsor. In past years, the effort has brought donations to U.S.VETS and drawn attention to its work. Camouflage-themed merchandise is also part of the campaign, with proceeds helping fund services for veterans and their families.
U.S.VETS provides housing, counseling, career development and other support to help veterans move into civilian life. Founded in 1993, it is now the country’s largest nonprofit organization focused on addressing veteran homelessness.
