Fox News Takes the Lead in YouTube Views for 2025

In a notable achievement, Fox News Media wrapped up 2025 as the leading news brand on YouTube, amassing an impressive 4.5 billion video views—an increase of 69% from the previous year, according to Emplifi. This impressive growth can be attributed to the company’s strategic focus on the platform.

The flagship Fox News channel boasts over 14.7 million subscribers, while the newly launched Fox News Clip channel is also gaining traction by providing timely reports and analysis from the Fox News Channel.

When comparing viewership numbers, Fox News significantly outpaced other networks such as MS NOW, which recorded 3.7 billion views; CNN with 2.3 billion; NBC News at 1.8 billion; ABC News with 1.4 billion; and CBS News, which came in at 675 million.

Ending the year on a high note, Fox News ranked No. 1 on YouTube for the fifth consecutive quarter in 2025. Additionally, FOX Business led the business news category on YouTube with 759 million views, well ahead of CNBC’s 356 million views, according to Shareablee.

Moreover, Fox News Media maintained its status as the top news brand on social media for the 11th year running. The network generated 1.5 billion interactions across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok—proof of a 239% increase from 2024.

This success on YouTube and social media coincides with FOX News Channel achieving its highest ratings in a non-election year, indicating a broader growth across multiple platforms. Fox News saw its largest combined daytime and primetime share of cable viewers since its establishment in 1996.

In contrast, CNN and MS NOW experienced declines in viewership. Interestingly, Fox News has emerged as the fastest-growing network in all of television, pulling in an average of 3.1 million viewers during weekday prime time, thereby closing the gap with ABC and CBS.
