Fox News Digital Sees Record Growth

Fox News Digital has reported impressive growth in January, achieving record levels of unique visitors across multiple platforms.

According to data from Comscore, unique visitors for Fox News Digital exceeded 187 million, marking a 27% increase compared to December.

In addition to its unique visitor count, Fox News Digital led in several other significant metrics. It reached 1.9 billion total multiplatform views, outpacing the New York Times, which garnered 1.5 billion, and CNN, which had about 725 million views. The network also boasted over 3.7 billion minutes of total watch time across platforms, leaving the Times and CNN in its wake with 1.2 billion and 1.1 billion minutes, respectively.

Future Projections for Fox News Digital

Looking ahead, Fox News Digital aims to continue this momentum, projecting a record 143 million unique visitors by 2025.

In January 2026, Fox News Digital maintained its top position in multiplatform views for the 21st month in a row, and it has led in multiplatform minutes for 59 consecutive months.

The network has also shown remarkable growth in the digital landscape, with YouTube alone counting 466 million views last month. This figure represents a 14% year-over-year increase and a staggering 60% rise since December.

Other major networks trailed behind, with MS NOW at 339 million, CNN at 237 million, ABC News at 124 million, NBC News at 118 million, and CBS News at 56 million views.

New Media Ventures

Recently, Fox News launched the ‘Hangout with Sean Hannity’ podcast as part of its new media strategy.

In January, the Fox News mobile app achieved 6.5 million unique visitors, surpassing CNN’s app, which reported just 3.2 million.

On social media, Fox News maintained its status as the most engaged news brand, racking up 175 million interactions, according to Emplifi and Shareablee. Specific figures included 104 million interactions on Facebook, 38.3 million on TikTok, 25.4 million on Instagram, and 7 million on X.

Fox News Channel’s Dominance

Moreover, January marked the Fox News Channel’s 24th consecutive month as the most-watched cable news network.

This month was particularly eventful, featuring key news, such as the Trump administration’s detention of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
