According to reports, President Biden still harbors resentment toward Democratic Party officials who plotted to remove him from the 2024 presidential election, even as the Democratic Party prepares to hold a massive farewell party at the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
Biden remains unhappy Former President Obama Politico reported Tuesday that Biden never told Trump face to face that he was withdrawing, but rather relied on his influence behind the scenes. Citing three sources familiar with Biden’s thinking, the report also reported that Biden was upset that former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) played large roles in forcing him to withdraw.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
A White House source told Politico that Biden views Pelosi as “ruthless” following the July incident.
News of Biden’s discontent comes as Democrats plan to celebrate him with a bang at the Democratic National Convention, with the very members who dropped him praising him as an elder statesman. ….read more
