Top Advisor for the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegses Department of Defense officials said he was escorted from the Pentagon on Tuesday and took administrative leave.

First reported by Reuters Caldwell was on leave for “fraudulent disclosure” of information during an investigation into the Pentagon leak. The official confirmed with Fox News Digital that Reuters’ report was accurate but refused to comment on the ongoing investigation.
