what’s happening?

– Biden faces backlash over reported plan to withhold some weapons from Israel…

– Hunter Biden loses attempt to have criminal charges dismissed…

– President Trump’s stormy day in court…

“We are so innocent.”

Stormy Daniels finished testifying at the Trump trial before several other witnesses were called to the stand. Judge Juan Marchan also rejects Trump’s defense team’s request to dismiss a mistrial motion and amend the gag order after former porn performer Daniels finishes testifying. He issued a double denial.

Mr. Trump’s team has said that Mr. Daniels’ stay on the witness stand was extremely detrimental, and that he falsified business records in order to pay Mr. Daniels $130,000 to sign and non-disclosure agreements, and that he once had sex with Mr. Trump. He insisted he had nothing to do with the charges, which he did not share.

President Trump has consistently denied Daniels’ claims, and defense attorney Susan Necheres worked hard Thursday to point out how Daniels’ story has changed over the years. Trump’s lawyers argued that now that the porn actress has testified, Trump should be able to defend himself publicly. But Marchand disagreed, saying the gag order would remain despite Daniels being a difficult witness to control and much of her testimony being “unnecessary” and “irrelevant.”

“We are completely innocent,” Trump said after court adjourned Thursday. He accused Mr Marchand of being “totally inconsistent” and “corrupt”.
