Fetterman vs Mean Girls
Democratic Sen. John Fetterman has condemned the altercation between Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and his fellow Democrats aren’t happy about it.
“In the past, I have described the United States House of Representatives as ‘The Jerry Springer Show.’ Today, I apologize to ‘The Jerry Springer Show,'” Fetterman wrote on social media. It was posted with a headline about the Congressional hearing that turned into contempt for the second time. There, AOC called MTG “baby girl,” MTG questioned AOC’s intelligence, and criticized another Democrat’s fake eyelashes.
Ocasio-Cortez responded to Fetterman by saying, “You seem confused that racism and misogyny are ‘both’ issues,” adding, “Instead of confronting the bullies. , I will take a stand,” he said.
