Fox NFL’s Curt Menefee joining ‘Good Day New York’ as co-host

FOX NFL host Curt Menefee will join Michael Strahan as co-hosts on FOX 5's “Good Day New York,” adding a daily morning show.

Menefee will continue to host Fox NFL Sunday.

Menefee will be based in New York and commute to Los Angeles on weekends during the NFL season.

He will be teaming up with Rosanna Scott on “Good Day.”

“Morning TV is something I've always wanted to do because there's so much variety,” Menefee, 58, told the Post.

During the NFL season, Menefee works a Tuesday-through-Friday schedule, followed by a full five-day schedule during the offseason.

Scott's former co-host Bianca Peters will move to Fox 5's noon and 6 p.m. shows.

Scott was one of Menefee's news anchors when he was the sports anchor for Fox 5's 10 p.m. news show in the mid-to-late 1990s.

In 2022, Menefee earned a master's degree in public policy and administration from Northwestern University.

“I've been a news nerd all my life,” Menefee said.

Menefee picked Strahan's brain about adding a second job.

Strahan, a longtime veteran of ABC's “Good Morning America” and the Fox NFL team, knows what it takes to make both happen, as well as the corporate jet Menefee hopes to fly on. I'm also on board.

“When you look at the players, it's like, they always call the owner 'Mr.', 'Mr. Jones,'” Menefee said with a laugh.

“I'm going to call him Mr. Strahan from now on, so he knows my level of respect, and I'll get on that plane.”
