Fox Corporation Launches New Streaming Service, Fox One

Fox Corporation has introduced its new streaming service, Fox One, which aims to consolidate various popular TV brands into a single platform. An announcement was made on Monday, revealing a partnership with ESPN that will allow customers to access both services for a monthly fee of $39.99.

In a statement, Fox highlighted, “The announcement of ESPN as our first bundle partner showcases our commitment to providing valuable viewing experiences for our customers.” This bundle is expected to appeal to sports enthusiasts, offering access to content from the NFL, NBA, WNBA, NHL, college sports, NASCAR, INDYCAR, UFC, and the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

Fox One is set to launch on August 21. It will feature live streaming and on-demand access to all Fox brands, which include Fox News, Fox Business, Fox Weather, and various sports networks like FS1 and FS2. Additionally, the service will integrate AI-powered personalization technology to enhance user experience, blending live and on-demand content effectively.

Subscribers can look forward to on-demand content from Fox Entertainment, including movies, TV shows, and a variety of reality programming. The service also promises to host content like the FOX podcast, giving users a broad range of entertainment options.

ESPN’s partnership has further expanded options, making available all ESPN linear networks alongside the new offerings. Viewers will be able to access a staggering 47,000 live events every year, including ABC, ESPN+, and other platforms through this collaboration.

Sean Breen from Disney Platform Distribution expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Working with Fox One to offer this bundle will deliver ESPN’s world-class sports content to an even broader audience.” This joint effort aims to provide customers with premium experiences wherever they are.

Individual access to the ESPN DTC offering and Fox One will begin on August 21, with bundled options available for purchase starting October 2.
