Francisco Alvarez of the Mets shares details about his private wedding to Nahomi Rojas.

Congratulations to Francisco Alvarez and Nahomi Rojas

Mets catcher Francisco Alvarez has tied the knot with his partner Nahomi Rojas. They shared their wedding announcement on Wednesday, posting photos from the ceremony on Instagram.

“And may our unity last forever. November 3, 2026 🤍💍,” they wrote in their post.

The couple welcomed their daughter Renata in June of last year, and she was adorable in a white dress at the wedding.

Details about the wedding location remain unclear, but it appears they exchanged vows in a backyard adorned with white curtains, flowers, and candles, surrounded by family and friends.

In another sweet moment from the day, Rojas posed with her two pugs.

Rojas chose a white off-the-shoulder minidress featuring a plunging neckline, paired with pointy stilettos. Alvarez, at 24 years old, wore a beige suit with a white undershirt.

Not much about their personal lives is shared publicly, so they didn’t announce their engagement prior to the wedding.

Alvarez is entering his sixth season as the Mets’ starting catcher. Recently, during spring training in Port St. Lucie, Florida, he mentioned he lost 10 pounds over the offseason to improve his fitness.

Standing at 5-foot-10, Alvarez’s regular playing weight last summer was 245 pounds, and this year, he aims to maintain between 225 and 235 pounds.

As the 2026 season approaches, the Mets and Alvarez have finalized a one-year contract worth $2.4 million, helping him avoid salary arbitration. The Mets will kick off their 2026 regular season on March 26 against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Citi Field.
