The Mets will be without their MVP candidate in their starting lineup on Saturday.
Mets president of baseball operations David Stearns told reporters that pitcher Francisco Lindor will not start Saturday against the Phillies because he hurt his back in Friday's win.
Stearns added that Lindor could potentially come off the bench.
Luis Ángel Acuña, promoted from Triple-A, will start at shortstop and bat ninth.
Jose Iglesias will be the leadoff batter and will play second base.
After awkwardly advancing to second base on a double in the sixth inning, Lindor felt pain in his lower back and, although he played in the next inning, was replaced in the seventh inning.

Manager Carlos Mendoza said Lindor was “feeling better” on Saturday.
“I'm not too worried,” he said. “He's had the treatment and he's definitely feeling better. We're just going to be safe here and give him a few more hours and see if he's available during the game.”
Acuña, the younger brother of Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr., stole 40 bases and posted a .654 OPS at Triple-A this year.
