Freedom 250 Announces Entertainment Lineup for Great American State Fair
Freedom 250 has revealed the exciting lineup of performers for the upcoming Great American State Fair, celebrating the 250th anniversary of American independence.
This announcement came on a Tuesday, highlighting not just the musical acts but also over a dozen military demonstrations planned for the event.
The fair is set to take place on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., stretching from the U.S. Capitol to the Washington Monument. It will run from June 25 through July 10.
“The celebration will unite and showcase all 56 U.S. states and territories in a single World’s Fair-scale event. This is an opportunity for visitors from across America to experience an unforgettable celebration of the people and traditions that define our nation. Our nation unites diverse states and territories to form the strongest country in the world,” said the organization.
Visitors can expect a 110-foot Ferris wheel, a recently refurbished Smithsonian National Carousel, along with various family-friendly activities.
Music Artists
Martina McBride, a prominent country singer-songwriter, is scheduled to perform on the opening day, Thursday, June 25. This day will focus on celebrating American architecture, infrastructure, and culture.
On Friday, June 26, the fair will honor ranching and agriculture, featuring performances by C+C Music Factory, Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli, and Young MC.
The Commodores and Morris Day and The Time will take the stage on Saturday, June 27, with a theme centered on “the American Canvas,” recognizing various American artists.
Flo Rida will perform on Thursday, July 2, during a celebration themed “Horsepower of America,” highlighting everything from classic vehicles to modern machinery.
On Friday, July 3, rock musician Bret Michaels will perform as part of the “Wings of Freedom” celebration.

All 56 states and territories are invited to showcase their own exhibitions and activities at the fair. While general admission will be free, attendees must register online for tickets, which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
