Freedom Caucus Chairman Bob Good (R-Va.) supported the Capitol rioters who were convicted of insurrection against sitting Republican members of the House of Representatives on January 6, 2021.
Good supported former West Virginia Congressman Derrick Evans, who was charged in connection with the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Evans was sentenced to three months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of insurrection for live-streaming the riot and then entering the building.

Evans was elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates in 2020, but resigned midway through his term.
