Liverpool’s loss to Crystal Palace put a dent in their league title hopes but they are still in the mix, along with Arsenal and defending champions Manchester City. Arsenal won their match against Wolves yesterday which saw them retake top of the table. If Liverpool beat Fulham today they won’t top the table because of goal difference but they will remain in the fight.

A win for Fulham, however, would see them rocket up the table to tenth provided other results go their way. The London club are having a solid season but they will want a better table return for the performances they have put in.

12 minutes: A good pass found Pereira’s run, but he couldn’t control it and Liverpool were able to clear, but Fulham have yet to land a punch in this game. But that’s when I typed “Iwobi made a great run and put in a cross to win the corner.”

10 minutes: Another great pass to Dias, but again he doesn’t get a clean touch, but Liverpool wins a corner kick. Robertson took a shot, but Alexander-Arnold’s shot went over the bar.

8 minutes:Fulham wanted a free-kick, but pundit Gary Neville called it a “mini-dive” and the referee appeared to agree without being given anything. Liverpool are now patient in the build-up and making a lot of passes through the midfield.

6 minutes: Fulham regained the ball and tried to mount their own attack, but their few passes were intercepted and ended up in vain. So far, the visitors are definitely off to a bright start.

4 minutes: Alexander-Arnold goes over a corner, plays short, and ends up with the ball in the box, where Dias almost gets a header but can’t quite connect.

share

3 minutes: Dias was given the peach ball and ran well into the penalty area, giving Jota a corner kick.

share

2 minutes: Liverpool have not won in their last three visits to Craven Cottage, a slightly ominous record, but as the saying goes, it’s only as good as what you did last time, and Liverpool will be hoping to turn the tide today. There will be. Both players are finding their feet in this match, starting at a slow pace.

Nottingham Forest tweeted This is a comment from the official account after the loss to Everton.

We simply cannot accept that three very poor decisions were made, meaning that three penalties were not awarded.

We warned PGMOL before the game that VAR was a Luton fan but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested many times.

NFFC plans to consider its options in the future.

[in] all of them and [had] It was a good moment and we created so many chances, but we more or less didn’t use any of them, so that’s not great.
