UConn must ignore all the odds to achieve what hasn't been done in March's madness for over 50 years: The Peat.

With the 2025 NCAA Tournament Bracket revealed, and UConn's inconsistent season landing it as the seed of No. 8, and it could be time for the new national champions as it's not one of the bet's favorites to win again.

Maybe it's another team in the tri-state area that will cut down on the net this time?

Red Storm is the second seed in the western region.

The No. 1 seeds are Auburn, Duke, Houston and Florida. The Tigers are the top of the overall seed.

Headlined by Johnny Bloom, Auburn aims to redeem itself after the Tigers beat the bracket in the 64th round and fell to No. 13 Yale after a major disappointment in the tournament last season.

Houston secured the number one seed in his third straight season. The Cougars have been a great power since Kelvin Sampson took over as head coach in 2014, jumping to the Big 12 in 2023.

Florida was the last program to win a back-to-back championship before UConn did it in the past two seasons. However, the Gators are taking part in their second NCAA tournament as they aim to return to glory over the past five years.

Duke is led by Freshman Phenom Cooper Flag, who predicts he will be the top pick in this year's NBA Draft. Fans have not had the chance to see this March as they completely missed out on this year's NCAA Tournament ahead of Rutgers' freshmen like Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey.

However, there are still plenty of other top NBA outlooks for fans to keep an eye on, such as Baylor's VJ Edgecombe, whose fans were featured as the number nine seed. Illinois No. 6 seed Casparas Jaccionis and 9th seed Georgia seeds ASA NEWELL.

Madness defeats March 18th and 19th in the first four matchups in Dayton, Ohio.

The 64th round begins March 20th-21st and continues in the second round, March 22nd-23rd.

Sweet 16 will take place from March 27th to 28th, while Elite Eight will take place from March 29th to 30th.

San Antonio will host the Final Four on April 5th and the National Championship Games on April 7th.
