A funeral procession for her mother and her two young sons is being held Wednesday morning in Lishon Region, Israel, after being handed over by Hamas last week.
The ruins of Silvivas and her son Ariel and Kfir were handed over to Israeli authorities late last week as part of an ongoing hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas.
The funeral was held at a private ceremony in Zohar near the family home of Kibbutz nil Oz, reporting on the time of Israel.
It will generally be closed.
The family announced the route for the funeral procession, urging the public to show support when the bodies were being transported.
On Friday, Hamas handed over the ffin carrying the ruins of Siri Vivas to the Red Cross and handed over the co to Israeli authorities.
She was identified positively on Saturday morning.
Hamas initially handed over a Palestinian woman from Gaza on Thursday.
The terrorist group said it was “not interested in withholding the body of its possessions.”
The dead hostages handed over on Thursday were killed in an Israeli airstrike in November 2023, and the body may have been misidentified by artillery fire in the area.
Before handing over the relics of Siri Vivas, Israeli authorities actively identified the ruins of another hostage, two sons who breathed life into life.
