GA Ruling ‘Huge Body Blow’ to Fani Willis, She Should ‘Recuse’ Herself

Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Wiseman spoke Friday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” following Fulton County, Georgia District Judge Scott McAfee’s sentencing, Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis. said he should recuse himself from the Georgia election lawsuit.

“I don’t think there’s any question that the defendant is not biased,” Wiseman said. “The judge goes out of his way to say this is irrelevant. That’s what makes this case so frustrating, and the judge… Because obviously I think I’m saying I won’t tolerate one minute of the testimony that took place, or even one minute of New York.”

He continued, “The key is how do we move forward, because obviously Wade is off, but this is a very big body blow and I think it’s almost a fatal blow for Fannie Willis.” I think the solution going forward is for her to voluntarily withdraw. She doesn’t know if she has that idea, but she thinks she has to say she’s going to appoint a chief of staff to oversee this case. She clearly has no credibility with this judge. ”

Wiseman added, “The judge recommends that all types of regulatory agencies in Georgia, including the Georgia General Assembly and the State Ethics Commission, take these issues up.” I mean, he’s listing it. Best of all, if your primary concern is the sanctity of this case, this is the most important case in Georgia, and one that will continue whether or not Donald Trump wins the presidency. Because of this, I think it may be the most important of the four Trump cases. If your primary concern is this case, whether you’re in office or not, I think she should voluntarily resign and say someone else will oversee this case in Georgia. Masu. So whatever happens to her in terms of her ethics, it doesn’t taint this case. ”
