Joe Pettit, the father of slain travel blogger Gabby Pettit and an advocate for victims of domestic violence and missing persons, will celebrate the show’s first success Monday night with “America’s Most”. Petito told Fox News Digital that it was an honor to share the stage with the Walshes, although she couldn’t provide further details ahead of the episode.
The season finale is titled “Young Love Ends in Murder,” which applies to his daughter’s tragic case.

The elder Walsh famously began his crime-fighting career after losing his eldest son Adam in a horrific kidnapping and murder in 1981. He was 6 years old at the time.
The family patriarch started America’s Most Wanted in 1988 to help other families seeking justice.
This year, Callahan Walsh, executive director of the Florida branch of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, joined her father on set.
He said the two connected after Gabby Petite disappeared in the summer of 2021.
“Joe is doing a great job of healing and fighting back at the same time,” he said. “Joe is doing the same with Gabby as the Gabby Petite Foundation, the Missing Persons Association and his parents make sure Adam doesn’t die in vain.”

Petito’s parents have been busy through their foundation, successfully lobbying for reform at the state and federal level. Their efforts contributed to the bipartisan Missing Persons Search Assistance Act of 2022 and Utah’s new domestic violence program.
In Florida, where the family currently lives, Joe Petito said the family is pushing for a domestic violence “lethality assessment protocol” bill that has already cleared several legislative hurdles and is in the hospital. He said it was close to a vote. He met with the governor of New York last week.
The appearance comes days after Gabby Petito’s parents settled a civil lawsuit against the family of suspected murderer Brian Landry and his attorney Steve Bertolino.
“Joe and Tara Petito and Nicole and Jim Schmidt endured a difficult and emotional two-and-a-half years that resulted in a settlement through mediation on February 21, 2024,” the families said through their attorney. .

The foundation aims to lobby for state and federal laws to protect victims of intimate partner abuse and raise awareness of domestic violence and missing person cases.
Monday night’s episode will also highlight the show’s return to FOX TV and its groundbreaking first capture streaming on FOX Nation.
