Gabby Petit's parents have shaded Brian Landry's family with a new doxory revealing additional details about the timing of his daughter's murder at the hands of his fiancee in the Wyoming wilderness. of crime.

Payment came three days after Laundry called his parents, less than a week after Petit last saw him alive.

Her stepfather, Jim Schmidt, reflected his concerns.

“I don't think the amount they paid their lawyers is less than representing someone for the murder,” he told the documentarian.

The lawyer in question is Tom Freener, a veteran of the Army and former JAG lawyer. The client included Guantanamo Bay detainee Ali Al Baul, former bodyguard of 9/11 terrorist Osama bin Laden, who was killed by a naval seal in 2011.

Fleener previously refused to discuss Laundrie's case on Fox News Digital. He did not immediately respond to requests for comment on this story.

Laundry's family lawyer Steve Bertolino raised $25,000 from his client and used it to hold a freener's law firm. He said he has not collected payments from the laundry due to his own legal role in the Saga, which landed him in the middle of a now-established lawsuit filed by Petit's parents.

Christopher and Roberta Landry admitted they were concerned about Petit's welfare after the call, but denied that they had knowledge of murder. Brian Landry summoned the right to remain silent, but ultimately left a suicide note and confession.

Brian's sister, Kathy Landry, was also expected to testify in the case, but her interview was cancelled before the sides reached a settlement.

Pat Reilly, a lawyer for Petito's parents, said “Because there was no information related to the matter of the lawsuit.”
