Gavin Newsom Launches Podcast with NFL Legend Marshawn Lynch

For some reason, California’s Democratic governor, Gavin Newsom, is starting a weekly podcast with NFL legend Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch.

In his latest effort to boost his national profile as a future Democratic candidate seeking the White House, Newsom will soon be launching a podcast. Political activities According to left-leaning news outlet Politico, the remarks were broadcast on iHeartPodcasts on July 5th.

The podcast promises to give listeners a voice from Newsom “like you’ve never heard before.”

Oddly, Newsom also promised not to get into political discussions. Political activitiesInstead, the NFL player and the far-left Democratic governor will guide listeners to “a deeper understanding of what it takes to excel in their respective fields.”

Newsom has a year and a half left in his term, and in November he ruled out running for president this year, and during the October 2022 gubernatorial debate he promised to serve out his term and not leave office early to run for president — all before Democrats began calling for Joe Biden to step down.

Either way, he is often touted as a likely candidate for the Democratic nomination, and instead of staying in California to campaign, he spends a great deal of time traveling across the country to campaign.

Meanwhile, Marshawn Lynch has one Super Bowl win, been selected to five Pro Bowls and led the NFL in rushing touchdowns in 2013 and 2014. He played from 2007-2019 and spent five years with the Seattle Seahawks.

He earned the nickname “Beast Mode” due to his success as a rusher, and his “Beastquake” touchdown during the 2011 NFL playoffs is considered one of the greatest in NFL history.

He retired and came back three times before finally retiring in 2019 after one final season with the Seahawks. He has since become part-owner of the NHL’s Seattle Kraken.
