Gavin Newsom Enjoys Super Bowl Festivities in San Francisco

Governor Gavin Newsom was seen getting friendly with Michael Rubin, the CEO of Fanatics, during a gala on Saturday at Pier 48 in San Francisco, just before the Super Bowl.

It seems the California governor is really diving into the Super Bowl excitement, attending various parties and concerts leading up to the game.

Footage of the event shows Newsom almost embracing Rubin as they share a private conversation. Rubin was heard giving the governor instructions on how to access a VIP area.

One might wonder just how much fun Newsom is actually having before he steps back into the political arena as a potential presidential candidate. When asked about his enjoyment during a tour with San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie, he simply gave a thumbs-up.

Earlier, he was also spotted dancing to performances from artists like Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Ashanti, and Cardi B, along with chatting with actress Teyana Taylor and CBS Morning host Gayle King.

Just a couple of nights before, security escorted Newsom into a different party at Park Tavern in North Beach, away from the prying eyes of cameras and reporters. Some even overheard a security guard saying they were trying to keep him out of sight from the Post.

Saturday’s party boasted a stellar lineup of sports and entertainment personalities, including Justin and Hailey Bieber, Ice Spice, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Leonardo DiCaprio, among many others.

Earlier that day, in anticipation of Bad Bunny’s halftime performance, Newsom proclaimed Sunday as “Bad Bunny Day” in California.

In a humorous tweet, he emphasized his fondness for the Spanish language by poking fun at former President Trump. He described Spanish as a beautiful language spoken by wonderful people, not just in California but globally.

Newsom continued to express his admiration for Bad Bunny, declaring the day of his performance as special in California.

On Friday, he was present for Green Day’s pregame show, where the lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, made headlines for criticizing immigration policies while performing.

Videos captured Newsom at this event, where he appeared to be enjoying himself in the crowd.

On Thursday, the governor attended two parties, expertly dodging reporters, including one attended by Representative Nancy Pelosi. Hosted by 49ers legend Joe Montana, the event also featured sports figures like Ronnie Lott and Steve Young, as well as ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith.

Newsom also made an appearance at a gathering organized by former NFL running back and co-host Marshawn Lynch, where they briefly discussed the show “Politikin.”
