Gavin Newsom will be upsetting Democrats for 4 years, and that's a good thing

Of all the fallout from Trump administration's tariffs, government cuts and executive order developments, Democrats face criticism for their lack of action and, worse, engaging in meaningless performance behavior. Is that so? Color adjustment of Trump's speech to Congress Or make a video for Cringey Tiktok, the Democrats get voters to think that the elected representative might actually be dead as James Carville They suggested that.

But one Democrat decided to do something radical and controversial, at least to his fellow Democrats. California Governor Gavin Newsom (d) sat down and involved and agreed to the right-wing character. In doing so, he paves the path for the 2028 Democrats (really himself) to reclaim the White House.

Newsom's statement that transgender athletes have participated in women's sportsDeeply unfair“Invaded the democratic establishment. But he also revealed Newsom's strategy to defeat Republicans. There is no doubt that Republicans have created, campaigned and won elections from all “culture wars” including everything from trans athletes to “Christmas wars.” There is a problem with these outrage over culture wars. Many Americans agree with them, and many Americans vote along those lines.

Democrats should know that the majority of their own voters agree with Republicans Transgender athlete issuesand many just don't think it's a serious problem. Compare it to a democratic platform and you see disconnection. Newsom tries to disarm the debate used by Republicans in his new podcast and in his future appearances with right-wing media figures. In doing so, he may simply shift the focus of the country's voters from culture wars and populism to policy and outcomes.

Newsom is smart and honestly, he has a right-wing media personality like Charlie Kirk on his show, as well as he also plays Fox News Show, podcasts, radio shows and a Blitz of Tiktok, watching America's future right and right for the next three and six months.

This was a real failure of Democrats returning to the Obama administration. Fox News is the mainstream news that pretends to dislike it, and it's not close when it comes to viewership ratings. Top 15 of 14 The cable news show will be held at Fox, with “Rachel Madou Show” only appearing in 14. I can continue, but the point is clear.

Joe Rogan's podcast (though he claims it is apolitical) is definitely big in its audience and in its essentially political aspects. Right-wing media is mainstream, and Democrats are mostly missing when they plan for people.

After the death of Kamala Harris' campaign, Democrats realized that Donald Trump's appearance on the right-wing podcast helped him win a fair chunk of young votes while Harris' absence hurt her. Have the Democrats learned this now? He seems to be the only person so far, as he knows how effective it is. In 2023, he went to Fox News to discuss Florida Governor Ron Desantis (R) and told him Neither will become president in 2025.

He was right, and he clearly showed his chops when he took on the Maga Light candidate. He's not the only one who does this. Senator Bernie Sanders (i-vt.) also took his opinion there, I received it warmly By a conservative audience. Former Transport Secretary Pete Buttigigue has consistently provided policy masterclasses to unprepared interviewers.

But that's not enough, and Newsom knows that. His plan (whether he wants to acknowledge it or not) is to temper the debate of all culture wars that will ensure that he will rise up again in the mid-term and 2028 elections. His remarks about trans athletes Put him in the kennel (for now) with the liberalsbut that means that the conservatives cannot advance that argument against him.

For Democrats who don't understand yet, let's talk about football. I love soccer and watch it a lot (sometimes too many). And in the preliminary stage of the election, I was hit by a railing with a Trump ad about the dangers of transgender Americans. I wasn't shaking with the ads, but I realized that Trump did something Republicans did very well. They link a particular group or policy to the anguish of the average American. We know there aren't many trans Americans, but Trump convinced people about that small group. It has impacted the lives of millions Americans. Laughter at everything you want to do, but it worked.

Newsom knows it worked, and he knows that the culture war is a cryptonite for democratic national candidates. So he intends to go to the public through right-wing media and soften all the culture war bombs Republicans use against him. In doing so, he reduces fears about Central America, forces Republicans to attack him with his greatest power, and explains democratic policies.
