GE Vernova Soars to New Heights
Recently, a report highlighted the top 10 stocks with significant gains, and GE Vernova Inc. (NYSE:GEV) stood out, particularly on Wednesday.
On that day, GE Vernova reached a high watermark after announcing a revised growth outlook for the next three years and, interestingly, doubling its quarterly dividend.
During intraday trading, the stock peaked at $731 before settling at $723, marking a 15.62% increase by the end of the trading session.
At its recent Investor Day, the company elevated its sales growth expectations for 2026 to between $41 billion and $42 billion, a notable increase from the 2025 forecast of $36 billion to $37 billion. This indicates a projected growth range of about 13.5% to 13.9%. Additionally, it’s aiming for a target of $52 billion in sales by 2028.
When looking at the sectors, GE Vernova’s electrification segment is anticipated to grow by 20% in 2026 and see continued growth in the low teens by 2028. Meanwhile, the electric power sector is aiming for growth of 16% to 18% next year, followed by further gains in the high teens over the next three years.
On a broader financial scale, adjusted EBITDA is expected to grow between 11% and 13% by 2026, with an impressive projection of up to 20% by 2028.
CEO Scott Strzyk expressed optimism, stating, “At GE Vernova, we are in the early stages of an exciting value creation opportunity and we are on track for a stronger financial trajectory.” He also emphasized the importance of electricity in driving economic growth and mentioned that they are well-equipped to cater to this expanding market.
Reflecting this optimistic outlook, GE Vernova has increased its quarterly dividend to $0.50 per share, a jump from the current $0.25, starting next year.
The first dividend increase will be distributed on February 2, 2026, to common stockholders as of January 5, 2026.
