TMZ reports that Johnny Wactor was shot and killed during a robbery in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday morning.
The actor, known for his role in “General Hospital,” was shot and killed at the age of 37 in an incident involving three suspects, the outlet reported. The assailants, it said, were trying to tamper with Wachter’s car and steal catalytic converters. Wachter was fatally wounded and his mother, Scarlett, was shot, despite not engaging or trying to stop the assailants. Said TMZ.

Wachter was with a colleague at the time of the attack, and the assailants fled the scene after he was shot, Forbes reported. reportParamedics quickly arrived at the scene, but Wachter died of his injuries at hospital, the outlet reported.
According to the outlet, Wachter was born in Charleston, South Carolina on August 31, 1986, and made her first television appearance in a multi-role role in three episodes of the Lifetime series Army Wives from 2007 to 2009. In 2013, she joined the cast of NBC’s summer supernatural drama Siberia, which was filmed in a reality TV format. Wachter’s death came as a shock to fans and colleagues alike, but especially to those who admired him for his pivotal role as Brando Corbin on “General Hospital” from 2020 to 2022. According to TMZ, Wachter had a stellar career spanning 15 years, with his diverse work including appearances on “Westworld,” “The OA,” “NCIS,” “Station 19,” “Criminal Minds” and “Hollywood Girls.”
