Actor Tyler Christopher was arrested Friday on suspicion of fainting at an airport in South Carolina.
The “General Hospital” star, 50, was handcuffed by police after being called a man dozing on the ground at an American Airlines terminal. TMZ coverage.
Police told the media that the incident was alcohol-related and that officers approached the actor and started waking him up.
Ultimately, he missed his flight and was booked for public intoxication, the media added.
Christopher reportedly showed signs of intoxication and was “unable to take care of himself”.

It’s not the first time he’s run against the law in a similar lawsuit.
In November 2019, he spent his 47th birthday in prison after being arrested for public intoxication at his home in Martinsville, Indiana.
TMZ reported Christopher allegedly passed out and urinated when an Uber driver dropped him off at his home and called police.
He was charged with “harassing, bothering, and alerting others” while intoxicated by alcohol and controlled substances.
It was the second public drunkenness incident in the same month.
Christopher is best known for playing Nicholas Kassadin on General Hospital from 1996 to 2016. He is also known for playing Stefan DiMera in Days of Our Lives.
Christopher is married to car race pit reporter Brienne Pedigo. They have a 10-year-old son, Grethan James, and a 4-year-old daughter, Bohème.
He was previously married to Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria from 2002 to 2004.
The incident comes just weeks after General Hospital star Hayley Pulse was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a car that left one person seriously injured.
The actress, best known for playing Molly Lansing-Davis on the ABC show, rammed an oncoming vehicle on a highway in Pasadena, Calif., on April 29, according to a police statement. TMZ got.
Reportedly, while driving at 90 mph, she veered over a fence and collided head-on with another vehicle.
The 24-year-old was stuck in a damaged car when authorities arrived and was unable to get out, the newspaper said.
