George Clooney on Trump win: 'What am I supposed to do, storm the … Capitol?'

Actor George Clooney appears to have called for an attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021 when discussing his reaction to President Trump's election victory.

“What should I do? You know, will you hit the storm? Capitol?” Clooney I said “The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert broke into the Capitol building Tuesday evening, possibly to a mob of Trump supporters attempting to prevent lawmakers from certifying President Biden's 2020 victory. It is likely that he mentioned the incident that occurred.

“It didn't work. That's what happens,” he added later.

Since then, Trump has forgiven hundreds of mobs who have been charged with their role in the riots.

Clooney's latest comments come after the Hollywood star openly supported Harris' former vice president in her bid for Trump. Clooney was one of the loudest calls for Biden to come aside after the disastrous debate performance raised concerns about his ability to serve in the White House for another four years.

He admitted on Tuesday that you can't win all the time.

“I have a son who plays in the chest tournament,” Clooney told Colbert. “I love chess. He's seven years old and plays many older kids. As you can imagine, he didn't win all the time.

“And I said, “Listen, you wave the man's hand and you say, 'It's a good game. I'll take you next time.” And that's a bit of a thing – you have to live by those rules. ”

Trump has been critical of actors in the past. In July, he left politics by urging Clooney to “go back to TV.” The star responded in September, saying he received advice: “If he would do that.”

“He's a huge fan of mine,” Clooney told then late-night host Jimmy Kimmel. “That's a trade-off I make.”
