George Clooney is reported to have lashed out at a producer from "Morning Joe" after Mika Brzezinski suggested that Barack Obama played a role in the actor’s critical op-ed against the producer.
Clooney stated that it was time for Biden to withdraw from the race following a troubling debate with then-Donald Trump in July 2024.

"This wasn’t George Clooney," Brzezinski remarked regarding the New York Times op-ed.
"I believe Barack Obama has considerable influence," she said.
Clooney was infuriated and criticized the show’s producers in a phone call shortly after, as described in his forthcoming book, Uncharted: Trump Trump Beat Biden, Harris, and The Odds in the Wildest Campaigns.
"How can she connect Barack Obama and me?" Clooney reportedly asked an unnamed producer, while distancing himself from any involvement.
"You f** me," Clooney responded. "You’re my friend. You should have defended me."
"George, this isn’t an af** movie. There are no scripts. It’s not a film progressing from script page to script page," the producer countered.
"F** you!" the actor replied.
"F yourself!" the producer shot back.
The initial call apparently ended before Clooney reached out to the producer again to continue the heated argument.
"This is a morning talk show on cable channels," the producer pointed out. "If you say he should leave or stay, it won’t matter. No one cares. It’s skylighting. It’s f** over.
"I’m unsure if I can trust you," Clooney reportedly replied.
"Well, f* you," the producer retorted. "If you don’t trust me, stop f****."

Biden eventually suspended his campaign, allowing Kamala Harris to secure the Democratic nomination. The Democratic Party has been struggling ever since.
Neither Clooney’s representative nor MSNBC’s spokesperson responded to inquiries from Fox News Digital.
