Star Trek Actor George Takei claimed that Republican politicians would justify Laken Riley’s murder by creating concentration camps for illegal aliens like Japanese Americans during World War II. .
“Please don’t do that again,” an exasperated Takei wrote in a recent X post.
George Takei was responding to a post by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) who criticized the Biden administration for allowing millions of illegal aliens to cross the border. Johnson’s post pointed out that an illegal alien who entered the United States under the Biden administration was arrested on suspicion of killing Laken Riley, 22, a nursing student at Augusta University.
In his response, Takei oddly identified Johnson with the men who “tainted my community during World War II by preying on people’s fears of others not like them.” I looked at it.
The actor failed to mention that it was President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s Democratic administration, not the Republican Party, that oversaw the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II.

Laken Riley was brutally murdered while jogging on the University of Georgia campus. The suspect arrested is Jose Antonio Ibarra, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela. He is one of the millions of undocumented immigrants the Biden administration has allowed entry and free travel, usually at taxpayer expense.
This is not the first time that George Takei used the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II as a means of emotional blackmail.
Last year, the actor compared Republican opposition to medical treatment of transgender children to both the internment of Japanese Americans and the Holocaust.
