Days before Mother’s Day, a Georgia mother was attacked by a pack of dogs outside a middle school, leaving the mother mauled to death and her three children dead.

According to reports, her mother, Courtney Williams, 35, was found dead in a nearby garden. The GBI is conducting an autopsy to confirm her official cause of death.
“When officers arrived, they encountered several aggressive dogs on the property,” the GBI said.
Williams’ children were taken to the hospital, where her son suffered multiple lacerations trying to protect his sister from the dog, family members said.
“By doing so, Kayden moved Sissy away from danger and saved her, but he took matters into his own hands with the dogs,” Crystal Cox, Williams’ sister-in-law, said on Facebook.
Cox shared graphic photos on her social media page of Kayden, who had several deep wounds on her arms, legs and head.
Williams’ other son ran into the school to seek help from the man during the attack, the report said. Cox called the man an “angel” and said he helped scare away the dog and get the children to the hospital.
Cox said Kayden had “pretty bad injuries” but all three children were recovering at home.
Authorities have not said what type of dog attacked the family, but neighbors said Said Local media reported that dogs were becoming a problem and called for stronger animal control in the area.
“People are abandoning dogs all over the county and no one can get help because we don’t have animal control in the county. We are praying for this woman’s family. This is so sad,” the resident said. one of them told WALB News.
Another resident said, “When I think about my family and children, from now on I have to celebrate Mother’s Day without my mother.”
