A bizarre video has been released showing a Georgia police officer rescuing a woman who was trapped in a crashed car and resting on a covered swimming pool.
A 911 audio recording released by the Cobb County Police Department shows a woman telling a dispatcher, “Someone drove through the pool fence. [she’s] In late February, police officers in the Atlanta suburb of Kennesaw were called to a strange scene in the middle of a swimming pool.
“There is a cover over the pool, so [she] It’s not sinking. I don’t know how long the cover will last,” the caller said.
Body camera footage shows a man standing next to the vehicle on the pool lid as officers arrive at the gated community where the incident occurred.
The man was heard telling them that the driver was lifting her head at times.
Cobb County police officers then broke the rear driver’s side window of the vehicle after the woman did not respond to knocks to open the front door.
The officer eventually opened the front door and saw the driver slumped in the front seat.
“It’s cold in here, okay? I’m leaving. Come on, let’s go. You can come with me,” the officer was heard saying.
Police then pulled the woman out of the pool and covered her with a blanket.

The driver was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital.
She is expected to recover, authorities said.
The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News Digital on Tuesday that the woman had a medical emergency shortly before the accident, and the car was then removed from the pool with the help of a tow truck.
