Georgia sorority girl seen in ‘smiling’ mugshot arrested again

A female student at the University of Georgia, dubbed “Miss America,” was arrested again in a few weeks after her mug shot of her smile ended up being word-of-mouth.

Releasechurt, a sophomore Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Georgia, was arrested for the second time this month after being arrested for excessive speeding in early March.

According to Athens Clark County Online Records, Stewart, 20, was arrested on Sunday, March 23rd for obstructing law enforcement officials and for lo-fire/roaming.

Stewart has since posted her $4,600 bond and was released from police custody before 11am.

Fox News Digital contacted UGA for details on the latest arrest but was not immediately responded.

Stephen Morris, a lawyer representing Stewart, said he had not commented on her latest arrest.

Stewart first made the headline on March 8th after images of her mugshot surfaced in minutes to speed up “beyond the maximum limit.” According to the report, officers pulled Stewart after getting to 79 mph in the 55 mph zone.

But what attracted attention throughout the internet was her smile mug shot.

Stewart took her to Tiktok to deal with her arrest and shared some of the most “indifferent” comments on her video.

“The only crime here is stealing my heart,” one commented.

“What she did, she's innocent,” another wrote.

“I don't know what she did, but I let her go,” another comment read.

Several people even offered to pay her bail.

Stewart told the outlet that she has gained thousands of new social media followers from her viral mug shots.

“I look like a basic white girl, and I am,” Stewart said, “I think it's hilarious. One of them said, 'I know she has a monogram rain jacket' – I do. ”

“There are some beautiful mug shots. I don't think it's particularly great,” explained Stewart. “I think it's actually a bad photo of me. If you're meeting me in person, I don't look the same as what I do with that mug shot. I don't think it's a great photo of me.”
