That love story came to a tragic end last month when a 24-year-old woman was killed in a seven-vehicle crash in Georgia. Just before that, right before her boyfriend was allegedly planning to propose, and a few days before her birthday.
On September 27, McKayla Harshaw, who was sitting in the passenger seat while her boyfriend Andrew Perez was driving on Interstate 75 in Atlanta, was killed in an afternoon crash.
Georgia State Police say the fatal multi-vehicle crash started when two utility trucks collided with a third van, which then collided with the couple's Toyota Corolla, which ignited the crash. . According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
