Gervonta Davis Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

Gervonta “Tank” Davis has been taken into custody on charges related to battery and domestic violence, as detailed in records from Miami-Dade County.

The boxer was booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Florida on Friday, though no bond amount has been established yet.

This incident adds to Davis’ ongoing legal troubles.

In June 2023, he was placed under house arrest after pleading guilty to a situation involving a hit-and-run that resulted in injuries to four individuals in November 2020.

According to police, Davis had been in a long-term romantic relationship with the alleged victim, and they share two children together. Reports indicate he went to his ex-girlfriend’s residence to pick up one of the kids, but a disagreement ensued.

During this confrontation, he allegedly told the woman to remove their child from the vehicle and stated he would not take the child with him. The situation reportedly escalated into a physical altercation.

Interestingly, upon arriving at the police station, Davis declined to fill out the Miranda warning form.

Prior to the recent events, Davis had an undefeated record of 30-0 until his last match against Lamont Roach Jr., which ended in a draw.
