But Alabama couldn't capitalize, and Michigan won in OT on running back Blake Colm's impressive 17-yard end zone run.
For Washington, quarterback Michael Penix Jr. threw for 430 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-31 victory over the Texas Longhorns.
