The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers are familiar with each other.
Throughout the 2024 regular season, the AFC North foes met twice. Their first game was a back-and-forth battle on November 17th, with the Steelers winning 18-16 at home. Russell Wilson completed 23 of 26 passes for 205 yards and one interception. Interestingly, all of the points Pittsburgh scored in that contest were field goals.
In the second divisional game, the Ravens fought back and defeated the Steelers 34-17 on Dec. 21, just over a month after falling behind Lamar Jackson's stellar three-touchdown day. Derrick Henry ran for 162 yards and Zay Flowers caught five passes for 100 yards.
They will meet for the final time on Saturday, January 11th in the highly anticipated AFC Wild Card showdown at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
Mike Tomlin's 10-7 Steelers enter the road game with a shoulder injury after losing four straight. As for their opponents, the Ravens are firing on all cylinders, winning four straight and capping off a 12-5 season. The only major obstacle they currently face is whether star receiver Zay Flowers, who was injured in Baltimore's Week 18 win over the Browns, will play.
“If the second-year wideout is inactive on Saturday, tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Riley, and fellow receiver Rashod Bateman, who is often Jackson's second option behind Flowers, will be more likely to will be involved,” the New York Post reported.

About the Ravens vs. Steelers game
Since the Ravens' first season in 1996, Baltimore and Pittsburgh have met 62 times. Before the wild card game, the Steelers had won 36 of those games.
As mentioned above, the Ravens were 12-5 in the 2024 regular season. This year will be the third consecutive year they have advanced to the playoffs. After strong seasons, nine players have been named to the 2025 Pro Bowl: Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Patrick Ricard, Zay Flowers, Tyler Linderbaum, Nnamdi Madubuike, Roquan Smith, Marlon Humphrey, and Kyle Hamilton. was selected.
