Maxwell Claims No Client List Exists for Epstein
Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted sex trafficker, asserted to Associate Vice-Chancellor Todd Blanche that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein does not possess a client list, based on a recently released interview transcript. Some supporters of former President Donald Trump have voiced criticism towards him and Attorney General Pam Bondi regarding their management of the Epstein Files, with Trump expressing frustration over the matter.
In her discussion with Blanche, Maxwell mentioned that there’s evidence to back her claims about the narrative surrounding Epstein. Blanche elaborated on the speculation regarding Epstein’s connections to various celebrities and noted discussions about whether he kept a list of contacts, often referred to informally as a “black book.” He inquired if Maxwell was aware of any such list.”
Maxwell countered by saying, “There’s no list. We can start there.” She offered to trace the origins of the narrative if Blanche was interested, reiterating that she was unaware of any list during her time around Epstein.
Even post his guilty plea on sexual charges in 2008, Epstein maintained relationships with numerous prominent figures, including fashion mogul Les Wexner, filmmaker Woody Allen, and Prince Andrew. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates was also noted to have met with Epstein multiple times.
Following a brief recess, Blanche remarked, “We were discussing topics often labeled as black books or Epstein lists.” Maxwell reiterated her stance, stating, “Yes. I just want to repeat it again. There’s no list I know.”
Maxwell further explained that a civil lawsuit from the law firm Rosenstein Adler was filed against Epstein after his guilty plea, aiming for $10 million to safeguard her from her then-boyfriend Ted Wight.
She recalled that this initiated claims made by attorney Brad Edwards concerning documents connected to Epstein. Maxwell claimed that the narrative transformed over time, suggesting that something allegedly taken from Epstein’s computer led to her being associated with a list in the Southern District of New York.
Epstein was found dead in his prison cell in Manhattan while awaiting trial on new charges in 2019.
