Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted sex trafficker, reportedly claimed to have had a sexual encounter with George Clooney during a party, as revealed by Virginia Giuffre in her posthumous memoir. Giuffre, who tragically took her own life in April, noted that Maxwell often reminisced about her past exploits, though she hinted that this specific claim might be an exaggeration.
“We’ll never know if that’s true,” Giuffre wrote in “Nobody’s Girl,” which was released last week.
Maxwell is said to have mentioned an intimate moment with Clooney in the restroom at a gathering, echoing previous assertions from Giuffre, including those from her unpublished work, “The Billionaires’ Playboy Club.”
Previously, a New York judge made excerpts from Giuffre’s earlier memoir public in 2020, showcasing Maxwell’s tendency to boast about her connections with various celebrities.
Giuffre described a time when Maxwell returned from a conversation, seemingly thrilled and full of excitement, likening her demeanor to that of a schoolgirl. She added, “But she once gave George Clooney a blowjob in the bathroom at some random event. … She never let it down.”
Details surrounding the alleged incidents, including the timing and location, are unclear. It’s notable that Clooney has never been linked with Epstein or Maxwell and is usually associated with the Hollywood elite. Epstein, a disgraced financier and convicted pedophile, took his own life in prison while awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges.
Prior to her passing, Giuffre, then 41, was one of the most vocal critics of Epstein and Maxwell, having been trafficked by them as a teenager. She drew attention when she accused Prince Andrew of being among those who abused her. Following damaging disclosures about his ties to Epstein, Andrew had to give up his royal title earlier this month.
Andrew has always firmly denied these accusations, even calling into question the authenticity of a famous photo showing him with a young Giuffre at Maxwell’s London home. However, in February 2022, he settled a lawsuit with Giuffre for an undisclosed sum, while the royal family insisted that no wrongdoing occurred.
Maxwell, now 63, is serving a 20-year sentence after being convicted of charges related to Epstein’s trafficking operation.
