Giants are back on ‘Hard Knocks’ following a tough offseason.

Giants Preparing for “Hard Knocks” Return

Last year was quite the experience for the Giants—perhaps more of a lesson than a pleasure, really. But now, they’re getting ready to jump back into the spotlight.

This December, HBO Max will air “Hard Knocks: Season with NFC East.” It’s certainly a high-profile lineup, with the Super Bowl champion Eagles and their ever-popular rivals, the Cowboys, overshadowing the Giants a bit.

When the Giants were featured in the offseason version of “Hard Knocks,” it stirred quite a buzz across the league. Fans and executives alike were curious about their transparent negotiations with Saquon Barkley, especially after he ended up signing with the Eagles.

Interestingly, while fans could tune into Rivets during the offseason, there wasn’t a special edition of the show this year.

Promotions for the upcoming season suggest players like Russell Wilson and Malik Narvers will take center stage alongside names like Barkley, Jalen Hurts from the Eagles, and Dak Prescott from the Cowboys.

The new narratives unfolding during the season will certainly provide some depth. This will mark the second division-focused edition of “Hard Knocks.”

Last year, it was the AFC North that got the focus. For the Giants, their quarterbacks Wilson (from the Steelers) and Jameis Winston (from the Browns) already know what to expect from the coverage.

During the ongoing season, “Hard Knocks” will center on players and coaches, unlike its offseason counterpart. Giants head coach Brian Daboll managed to stay out of the limelight last time around, but that may change now.

As rookie quarterback Jackson Dart gets ready to debut in December, it’ll be fascinating to see if Wilson remains at the helm.

Meanwhile, “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills” is set to premiere on HBO on August 5th.
