Giants head coach Brian Daboll wasn’t too pleased with the late penalty called on linebacker Kayvon Thibodeau.
Daboll removed the officials after Thibodeau was called for an illegal contact call on a third-and-8 at the Giants’ 12-yard line.
The penalty gave the 49ers another down, which they used to eventually get a field goal from a 72-yard drive-in. San Francisco won 30-12..
The Giants coach was seen lashing out on the sideline, tearing off his headset and punching the air as he screamed at the referee.
He continued to scream as he was sent back to the sideline.
New York led 20-12 when the penalty was called.
The Giants were hoping to pull off a historic come-from-behind win against Arizona last Sunday, but things didn’t work out against the undefeated 49ers. The 49ers are now 3-0 and the Giants are 1-2.
On the positive side, early in the game, Thibodeau records Giants’ first sack seasonal.

Thibodeau beat All-Pro offensive tackle Trent Williams for a sack on Brock Purdy, setting the 49ers back four yards.
Williams then got into a scuffle with Giants tackle Ashawn Robinson, punching him in the face.
Williams and Robinson were penalized for unnecessary roughness, but the punch was not mentioned in the call from officials.
Overall, the Giants gained 37 yards in road losses and were flagged six times.
