Giants can’t regret beating Colts even with NFL draft spot now in flux

There can be no clash of ideas when it comes to winning or losing. But it might be a stretch to think that there was nothing inside the Giants' front office as the final seconds passed, and lo and behold, there was a win for the first time in 85 days.

When the Giants scored 45 points (45 points!) and the Colts scored 33 points, there was a sense of relief and, admittedly, a little joy. It's the front office's job to assemble a roster that can win and find solutions. Once the season is over, the front office is tasked with gathering all scouting evaluations and college visits and developing a plan of attack. We do not manipulate the draft order during the season.
