Giants’ emerging rookies bright spot in ugly season

There wasn't much positivity for this Giants team heading into Sunday's game against the Saints at MetLife Stadium, but they're 0-6 this season with an embarrassing 150-60 score. I'm losing.

Their “franchise” quarterback, Daniel Jones, was released two weeks ago. The team's best offensive player, left tackle Andrew Thomas, is out for the season with a foot injury. Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, the team's best defensive player, is out for the season after sustaining an elbow injury last week. And linebacker and defensive play-caller Bobby Okereke likely won't play Sunday because of a back injury.

Jones, Thomas, Lawrence and Okereke are four of the team's five captains, and long snapper Casey Kreiter is currently the only healthy captain.

Earlier in the season, Tyrone Tracy Jr. ran through a hole in the Giants' 27-22 loss to the Commanders. Robert Szabo of the New York Post

Yes, it's been a long season with 2 wins and 10 losses as the team has lost 7 straight and still has 5 games left.
