Giants' Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo concentrate on football following Tisch-Epstein update

San Francisco – The New York Giants found themselves in a bit of a predicament last week after co-owner Steve Tisch was linked to troubling details in the newly released Epstein files.

Some emails between Epstein and Tisch have come to light, and they include some rather explicit discussions about women. Clearly, this isn’t something the Giants want associated with their name, and players like Jackson Dart and Cam Skatebo seem to be trying to stay focused on the game.

“Just don’t watch it,” Skatebo mentioned to FOX News Digital ahead of Super Bowl LX. Dart echoed his sentiment, emphasizing that “all that matters is the ball.” They’re clearly trying to keep their heads in the game, which, I suppose, is the professional thing to do.

Tisch’s long-time agent, Leigh Steinberg, commented on how the NFL might approach the situation in a discussion with FOX News Digital. “It raises a question about how the NFL applies its standards,” he noted. He added that being named in these exposés doesn’t automatically make someone guilty, highlighting the need for a standard of proof regarding any alleged misconduct.

“It’s a bit unfortunate because, I mean, the Giants recently made a solid move by hiring John Harbaugh. He could really shift the team’s culture for the better,” Steinberg observed. “All these documents are out there, but what actually matters is the actions taken, right? They need to assess things and potentially implement changes.” He underscored the presumption of innocence that Tisch deserves.

In light of the revelations, Tisch quickly issued a statement, sharing that their relationship was brief and casual. “We exchanged emails about adult women, movies, philanthropy, and investing,” he explained. “I didn’t accept his invitation or visit his island. As we all now know, Epstein was a terrible person, and I truly regret that brief association.”

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, reflecting on the situation, commented that the league would “absolutely… consider all the facts.” He indicated a cautious approach, saying, “We’re going to try to understand that, and we’ll look at how that applies to our policies. It’s a step-by-step process, starting with the facts.”
