There’s a feud going on between Malik Neighbors and Trevon Diggs.
The Cowboys cornerback reposted a video of Giants 2024 first-round draft pick Neighbors X saying he couldn’t wait to play against Diggs in the NFL at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere event in May, sparking a feud that spilled into public view on Tuesday.
Diggs, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, posted again X minutes later, adding: “The Giants have been winning the belt for a few years now.”
Neighbours was quick to respond, reposting the same video to X, this time adding a coffin emoji.
The exchange got even uglier when Neighbors posted a screenshot of the lyrics to NBA YoungBoy’s “Boot Up” in a now-deleted post by X.
“Fuckin’ b***h wanna fight on Instagram, he’s tweeting, I’m watching it all,” the lyrics read.
Diggs later fired back, reposting the NFLPA’s event video with a ninja emoji.
Neighbors and Diggs will face off for the first time on “Thursday Night Football” in Week 4 on Sept. 26 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The two teams will meet again in Week 13 on Thanksgiving in Dallas.
Neighbors was the Giants’ sixth overall pick in April’s draft and will immediately slot in as the top option outside quarterback Daniel Jones.
Diggs was one of the NFL’s top cornerbacks over his first four seasons, but just suffered a torn ACL before Week 3 last year.
The Giants’ rookie receiver will look to reverse Big Blue’s poor showing against their NFC East rivals.
The Cowboys have won 13 of the past 14 meetings between the teams since 2017, including the last six.
