Observations from Giants training camp practice on Sunday.
Good stuff
Malik Neighbors caught the ball over his shoulder with one foot on the ground as he ran along the sideline, then limped off with his other foot and fell out of bounds.
A strong, well-earned blessing and an exquisite pass from Daniel Jones.
This was such an impressive catch that it was named Catch of the Day, beating out Jalynn Hyatt’s full extension catch.

The camp will be held on July 28, 2024. Ryan Dunleavy/NY Post
bad person
Jones underthrew two passes to Neighbors, incomplete what could have been touchdowns with the right read.
He was sacked by Brian Barnes during a ball movement period that ended with the offense getting downs inside the 10-yard line.
It caught my eye
Fresh off the physically unable to play list, rookie tight end Theo Johnson made a catch in the first 11-on-11 drill of the summer.
TE Tyree Jackson caught a touchdown pass from QB Drew Lock during the second-team offensive field movement drill.
Injury Report
C John Michael Schmitz (shoulder) was limited to individual practice.
Austin Schlottmann took over as starter.
S Tyler Nubin (calf) remains out.
